Designer

Pierpaolo Rossi is a 100% "Made in Italy" Architect and Designer; he was born in Iseo in the province of Brescia in 1981, now he lives and works in Milan.
Graduated in Architecture in 2005 at the University Institute of Architecture of Venice, he has formed following the courses of the main teachers of architectural design of those years.
During the Erasmus project he studies at the Institut Supérieur d'Architecture Intercommunal Victor Horta in Brussels, thus entering into contact with the most creative and less humanistic feature of the Architectural Design. 
His professional career began in 2005 in Florence at the study ARCHEA, as a junior architect faces across his profession from a large scale architecture to the interior design. In this first part of his training he has actively been involved in various competitions including the Palazzo della Moda and the competition for the hotel towers of the new Milan fair.
Also in Florence works at Studio ASZ Partners, where he explores the retail field working mainly for the Gucci Group. Among the major projects he graphically develops the executive phase of the super store in Via Condotti in Rome, applying the new concept of the current artistic director of the House.
The most important experience starts in 2007 as Interior Designer Architect at the Matteo Thun & Partners study in Milan where he found fertile ground to apply his best skills and abilities.
As project leader he realizes many luxury homes in different parts of Europe, including Saint Moritz, London, Trento, Bolzano and Palma de Mallorca, thus coming in contact with a rich and increasingly demanding customers. He was entrusted with the entire design process from the concept design phase until the detail planning one, then the conclusion of the project with the art direction.
Residences, hotels, spas, retail, international competitions and design are just some of the topics that feature his "learning adventure" working in close collaboration with the brilliant professionals in the study of Matteo Thun.

In 2012 he signs, for the company al360milano, his first line of furnishings for outdoor and indoor use, named "360" and to be built entirely of aluminium.
The main objective of the research of Pierpaolo Rossi is to define a new concept of luxury, looking for the right combination of tools in his knowledge: natural materials, lights, fabrics, objects and constant dialogue between indoor and outdoor … a new design of excellence.
